Description
10" (25 cm.) Bisque socket head with very chubby plump face, narrow brown glass inset eyes with heavily modeled eyelids, painted lashes, brush-stroked brows, accented nostrils, open mouth with outlined lips, two upper teeth, brunette mohair bobbed wig, five-piece body with painted stockings and blue shoes, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: D 4 (raised letters). Comments: Germany, mystery maker, circa 1912. Value Points: wonderful characterization with deeply impressed dimples and expression.
