Description
34" (86 cm.) x 21". Oil painting on canvas depicts a blue-eyed Bebe Jumeau in luxury rose dress with wide-brimmed rose bonnet and matching rose shoes and stockings seated on a bentwood chair. Although impressionistic in style, the details even include the wrist jointing. The canvas is stretched on wood frame with the center stretched stamped "Moirinat, Paris, 13(8?)4 Faubourg-St. Honore", and gilt wooden frame. Circa 1890.
