Bisque socket head with sculpted German soldierås helmet,painted brown hair,blue glass side-glancing googly eyes,painted lashes and brows,pug nose,closed mouth with impish smile,impressed dimples,composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: dep Elite D 1. Comments: Max Handwerck,from his helmet googly series,circa 1915. Value Points: excellent bisque and modeling of the rare googly,wearing delightful antique Tyrolean costume with fancy suspenders,liederhausen,and matching jacket.
