17" (43 cm.) Porcelain shoulderhead, short black sculpted hair in boyish fashion, painted facial features, muslin stitch-jointed body with sewn-on stockings and shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1880. Value Points: wearing wonderful antique gentleman's costume including jacket, vest and trousers, with watch and fob, white shirt, and straw bonnet.
