All composition with socket head, painted brown eyes, all-around black eyeliner and painted lower lashes, fringed brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with accent line between the lips, brunette human hair, jointed shoulders and hips, wearing one-piece romper suit, shoes and socks, metal wrist tag. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Effanbee American Children (head) Effanbee Anne Shirley (torso). Comments: designed by Dewees Cochran for Effanbee American Children series, late 1930s. Value Points: lovely painted eye model has appealing expression, impressed dimples.
