All-felt with stitched-on head posed looking to the side, stitched and painted facial features, brown upper-glancing eyes, long lashes, button-shaped nose, closed mouth with wide smiling grin, brunette mohair wig, arms posed held behind his back. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Austrian doll artist, Elli Riehl, born 1902, created a series of whimsical felt dolls in the mid-1900s. Value Points: whimsical character doll wearing his original artist-made costume.
