12" (30 cm.) Of dark brown mohair, posed on four legs as though lumbering along, the bear has a shaved muzzle of golden mohair, amber glass eyes, black embroidered nose tip and wide mouth line, felt paw pads. A mechanism in the tail of the bear, when moved by hand, causes the bear's head to nod and turn. Excellent condition except wear to felt paw pads. Germany, Steiff, 1930s, rare color and mechanism.
