Bisque socket head, blue glass sleep eyes, mohair lashes, shaded nostrils, open mouth, six modeled teeth, pierced ears, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body, lovely antique dress with exquisite embroidery, undergarments, socks, shoes. Condition: generally excellent, original paint skip on left forehead by crown rim. Marks: Juillien 12. Comments: French, Juillien, who registered his Bebe L'Universel" in 1895, was an important supplier to Paris Department stores such as Samaritaine. Value Points: excellent bisque and painting on the rarely found model.
