17" (43 cm.) and 8" The larger doll has felt swivel head with pressed and painted facial features, blue eyes with glazed highlights, outlined eyes, single stroke brows, closed mouth with wide center accent line, blushed cheeks, blonde mohair bobbed wig, muslin body with jointing at shoulders and hips. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Ronnaug Petterssen (original tag on costume). Comments: by the noted Norwegian artist, Ronnaug Petterssen circa 1940. Value Points: in fresh vibrant condition, the doll wears original beautifully-detailed folklore costume; included are four miniature cloth dolls in original costumes by Petterssen.
