10" (25 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate, brown glass enamel inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth, accented lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, kid poupee body with shapely waist, stitched and separated fingers. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 1 (and artist checkmarks). Comments: Jumeau, circa 1875. Value Points: rare petite size 1 with dramatic brown paperweight eyes, lovely antique folklore costume with elaborately detailed trim and coiffe.
