Description
4" (10 cm.) One-piece all-bisque figure of golfer in classic pose, his legs askance, golf club in his hands, oversized cap, green painted costume, large side-glancing googly eyes, sunburst-shaped lashes, "O"-shaped mouth. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: the Peek-a-Boo golfer appeared in the postcards and story series by the British artist Chloe Preston, and was made in bisque figural form by the German firm of Schafer & Vater, circa 1925.
