24" (61 cm.) Bisque socket head, small blue glass sleep eyes, painted curly lashes, brushstroked and feathered brows, accented nostrils, rounded nose, open mouth with wide smiling expression, outlined lips, deeply-impressed dimples and laughter lines around the mouth, tremble tongue, two porcelain upper teeth, blonde mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed toddler body with side-hip jointing. Condition: generally excellent, body finish is retouched. Marks: K*R Simon & Halbig 116/A 62. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, circa 1912. Value Points: rare size of the expressive character doll, with original toddler body, very fine quality of sculpting and bisque, wonderful antique sailor costume.
