Description
19" (48 cm.) h. largest. Each is firmly-stuffed penguin with cream shaved mohair coat, attached flaps, swivel head, amber glass eyes, having painted yellow, black and moss-green shading, painted rubberized web feet, red felt beaks with painted black stripes and appliqued yellow stripes. Including 19" with Steiff paper label "Peggy" (Eulan stamp on back side); 13" with Steiff button and yellow tag 4335.07; 8 1/2" (no tags); 5" with Steiff button and yellow tag 4310.07; and 3 1/2" non-swivel head, with Steiff paper label "Peggy". Excellent condition. Germany, Steiff, circa 1950.
