8" (20 cm.) Polychromed terra cotta young lad with black complexion, black sculpted tightly-curled short hair, enamel eyes, closed mouth, tow-wrapped posable armature body, carved wooden lower arms and legs, painted black slippers, wearing original court costume comprising red silk brocade tunic with gilt metallic borders, silk pants. Excellent condition. Neapolitan, mid-1700s.
