14" (36 cm.) Bisque head with flanged neck, highly characterized features, brown glass eyes, painted clown features, closed mouth with smiling expression, row of painted teeth, wooden block torso with bellows mechanism, wire upper arms, wooden legs and hands, painted red stockings and black ankle shoes. Condition: generally excellent, Marks: H 3. Comments: Sonneberg, circa 1890, when bellows is squeezed, the eyes blink open and closed and the clown claps her cymbals. Value Points: amusing blinking eye toy, the highly-characterized toy wears original jester costume.
