10" ferris wheel. The wooden toys from the German Erzebirge region include a ferris wheel on wheeled base with four cars and eight passengers (the cars swing individually and the entire wheel revolves); paper mache bunny pulling a wooden wagon; balance toy of man in green suit with wooden weight; bird perch with feathered "birds" that spiral flutter down wire threads; cat and mouse lever toy; an articulated wooden man that operates from a wooden stick; and a beautifully painted paper mache blue bird on wooden wheeled base with bellows attachment that when the bird is wheeled, it also "cheeps". Excellent condition. Early 20th century.
