17" (43 cm.) Bisque socket head, sculpted short brown curly hair with deeply defined curls, aqua hair band with decorative glaze, sculpted intaglio blue side-glancing eyes with large black pupils, white eye dots, one-stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth in smiling expression with row of beaded teeth, impressed cheek dimples, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 7768 Heubach (sunburst) Germany. Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1912, the doll was marketed as Coquette. Value Points: especially fine quality of sculpting on the cheerful-faced girl.
