11" (28 cm.) Paper mache shoulderhead of lady doll with sculpted brown hair waved away from face and forming into elaborate arrangement at the back of head, with applied real hair curls at each side of forehead, painted facial features, blue eyes, brown brows, slight smile on thin-line lips, slender kid body, wooden lower arms and legs, original gown and undergarments. Condition: very good, some small surface craze lines on face, craquelure on shoulderplate. Comments: Germany, circa 1820. Value Points: the rarity of the model with real and sculpted hair is enhanced further by the distinctive brown hair color.
