Description
10" (25 cm.) h. canopy. Including wooden bed with original grey painted finish and gilt metal trim,with very elaborate lattice-design foot board (few small pieces of trim missing),and high head board with fitted fabric back and wooden canopy,with original bed fittings. Along with similar wooden faux-chest of drawers with hinged lid (having begun as a lavish candy container) with paper and painted cover in delicate shades of mauve and cream. Along with fine porcelain toiletries comprising of two candle sticks,three various lidded containers,and ring holder with delicate decorations of purple violets. Generally excellent. Circa 1885.
