15" (38 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, rose-blushed eye shadow, brush-stroked brows, accented nostrils, open mouth with slightly-parted lips, four porcelain teeth, dimpled chin, blonde mohair wig over plaster pate, composition and wooden eight-loose-ball-jointed body with straight wrists, wearing pretty antique costume and leather shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 10. Comments: Kestner, circa 1885. Value Points: a very choice example of early child doll, with original wig, body, body finish, and costume.
