Each doll,depicting an adult man or woman,has wax shoulder head with refined facial shape and elongated throat,painted facial features,mohair wig or painted hair,slender padded armature body,wax lower arms and legs,sculpted shoes,and each is wearing sewn-on costume of the Wedding Party. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: "This is a Portrait Doll an original creation by Lewis Sorensen" (paper labels). Comments: by the American artist,circa 1950s. Value Points: the wedding party includes Bride,Groom,Best Man,Mother of the Bride and five bridesmaids.
