The firm-sided dachshund dog with kidskin cover has hinged legs with tiny hidden wheels below the feet, amber glass eyes, defined ears, painted black nose and mouth, curled tail, and with original leather collar. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Roullet et Decamps, circa 1890, when wound, the dog walks perkily forward, turning its head. Value Points: delightful mechanical toy, especially appealing as accessory for doll display.
