Felt swivel head with pressed and painted facial features, grey side-glancing eyes with white accent dots, brown upper eyeliner, painted curly lashes, accented nostrils, closed mouth with glazed lower lip, brunette mohair wig, firmly-stuffed muslin body with jointing at shoulders and hips. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Venus, late 1920s, the last dolls of the Cardaillo epoch. Value Points: pristine original condition with vibrant colors of the stylish flapper era dress in lime and forest green with pink felt floral appliques, matching bonnet and shoes, undergarments, and preserved in original box.
