16" (41 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, blonde sculpted hair with elaborately-arranged curls tucked behind her pierced ears and held by a wide band at the crown, blue glass inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with outlined lips, old muslin body with bisque lower arms and legs, painted purple garter ties and brown-edged tan heeled and buttoned boots, antique brown velvet gown. Condition: generally excellent, both legs reglued. Comments: Germany, circa 1870. Value Points: rarity factors include swivel head, glass eyes, pierced ears, wonderful coiffure.
