15" (38 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head with pink-tinted bisque, painted blonde baby hair with forelock curl, intaglio blue eyes with prominent black pupils, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with outlined lips, composition bent limb baby body, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Heubach (sunburst) 7 Germany 7602. Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1912. Value Points: very fine quality of sculpting depicting a wistful-faced child.
