16" (41 cm.) Bisque socket head, blue glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, blushed eyeshadow, lushly-painted lashes, brushstroked brows, accented eye corners, shaded nostrils, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Depose Tete Jumeau Bte SGDG 7 (head, and artist checkmarks). Bebe Jumeau Bte SGDG (torso). Comments: Emile Jumeau, circa 1886. Value Points: the lovely bebe with creamy bisque, especially beautiful deep eyes enhanced by dramatic eyeshadow blush, original body and body finish.
