Description
11 toys. 6.5" largest. Each is of vividly colored embossed lithographed tin with movable limbs or accessories that cause a humorous activity when the tab or handle hidden at the back is squeezed, e.g. the black cat blinks its eyes and catches the mouse, the goose tips his hat and opens his beak to reveal a new-born babe (marked Gely for Georg Levy), a man spanks a rascal boy, and so forth. Two are presented in frame with a note from their donor. Excellent condition of the amusing lots. Germany, circa 1920/1950.
