4 1/2" (11 cm.) Each has paper mache shoulderhead with painted black hair with chignon, painted features, all-wooden articulated body with lavish costume constructed of tinted sea shells. Condition: dolls and wooden bodies are excellent, shell costumes are in fair condition. Comments: French, circa 1840. Value Points: fully-articulated wooden bodies on the petite dolls.
