Carved socket head with deeply carved boyish hair in windblown tousled style,curls onto the forehead,intaglio carved dark blue eyes,black upper eyeliner,white eyedots,rounded nose with accent dots,closed mouth with beaming smile,row of painted teeth,sculpted ears,all-wooden spring-jointed body,nicely costumed in Schoenhut style clothes. Condition: finish on head is original with typical light wear,body repainted. Marks: Schoenhut Pat Jan 17,1911 USA & Foreign Countries. Comments: Schoenhut,circa 1912. Value Points: rare early model with wonderful carving,expressive presence.
