The porcelain heads depict a man and woman with sculpted carnival hats, and highly-stylized painted facial features including dramatically-painted eyes, attached to cardboard paper mache bodies with attached cloth costumes, and removable bases for use as candy containers. Excellent condition. For the French market, presented as luxury candy box by Parisian chocolatier, circa 1915.
