Description
17" (43 cm.) All-cloth doll with pressed and oil-painted facial features, plump face, double seam chin, painted brown hair with forelock curls, small painted brown eyes with shaded detail, black and brown upper eyeliner, accented nose, closed mouth with pouting expression, stitch-jointed arms, separately-stitched thumbs, five leg seams. Condition: generally excellent, tiny nose rub, body smudged. Marks: Kathe Kruse 1322 (feet). Comments: Kathe Kruse, Type I, circa 1920. Value Points: most endearing expression of the neat little fellow, wearing wonderful well-detailed Tyrolean costume.
