23" (58 cm.) Paper mache shoulderhead, black sculpted short curly hair with feathering details around the forehead, black enamel eyes, painted lashes, lightly feathered brows, slightly-parted lips, two square-cut upper and two lower teeth, muslin stitch-jointed body, leather arms with hands designed to appear as though gloves. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1865. Value Points: rarity factors include deeply sculpted hair, feathered details, glass eyes, antique costume includes gown, apron, bonnet.
