Two all-wooden characters depict the popular comic strip characters,each with sculpted hair and painted facial features,Maggie with classic exaggerated topknot and yellow hair band,and Jiggs with over-sized ears and cigar,wooden bodies. Condition: generally excellent,Jiggså costume not original. Comments: the lead characters from the popular George McManus comic strip "Bringing Up Father" are depicted by Schoenhut,circa 1916. Value Points: well-rendered sculpted form of the illustrated figures with delightful faces and features.
