19" (48 cm.) Bisque shoulder head with plump face, sculpted short curly hair in side part with arranged curly tendrils around the sides of face that are held by a blue hair band, painted blue downcast eyes in deeply set sockets, red and black upper eyeliner, single-stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, muslin body, porcelain arms, wooden lower legs with painted ankle boots, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent, some damage to arms. Comments: Germany, circa 1880. Value Points: wonderful cherubic face with gentle expression, deeply sculpted curls.
