22" (56 cm.) Composition head with flanged neck, sculpted side-parted red hair, painted freckles on nose, forehead and cheeks, brown sleep eyes, closed mouth with wide beaming smile with painted teeth, muslin body with stitch jointing at shoulders and hips. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Howdy Doody, circa 1950. Value Points: wonderful expression and characterization, wearing original costume as depicted on TV show, with Howdy Doody monogram on scarf.
