8" (20 cm.) All-carved wood with socket head, smooth body and jointed legs, inset glass eyes, closed mouth with defined lips, leather ears and horns and with shaggy brown woolen mane, rope tail, shaped hooves. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Schoenhut, circa 1900, Style II of the buffalo. Value Points: rare animal from the Schoenhut firm with well preserved original paint and mane.
