Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate, blue glass inset enamel eyes, painted lashes and brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with accented smiling lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate,kid gusset-jointed poupee body with square cut collarette, nicely costumed in antique two piece gown with blue silk trim. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: E . Comments: Leon Casimir Bru, circa 1870, his deposed (brevete) model poupee with smiling expression. Value Points: beautiful bisque and expression on the rare poupee, original uniquely styled Bru body, leather shoes signed "B" in script.
