23" (58 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid shoulderplate, blue glass inset eyes with spiral threading, dark eyeliner, shaded nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with outlined lips, pierced ears, French kid poupee body with gusset-jointing. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 6 (head and shoulderplate) F.G. (shoulderplate). Comments: Gaultier, circa 1875. Value Points: wonderfully costumed gentleman poupee with moustache and antique costume including top hat, and cane.
