Description
12" (30 cm.) Each has socket head with composition "mask" face, large blue glass side-glancing eyes, smoky upper eye shadow, one-stroke brows with shaded outlines, tiny nose and mouth, cropped mohair wig, pink felt flannel body with jointing at shoulders and hips. Condition: very good, some scuffing on face. Comments: the dolls were marketed under the trade name "Hug Me Kiddies", circa 1920. Value Points: appealing pair of glass-eyed googlies, wearing antique costumes, one with original raincoat, umbrella and cap.
