4" (10 cm.) The firm-sided brown leather valise with box-shaped base and angled top opens at the center to reveal the interior lined with purple silk faille. The exterior is trimmed with brass studs,faux straps,and bail handle. Excellent condition. Rare early valise perfectly-sized for display with lady dolls. French,circa 1860.
