Carved wooden socket head of older child, carved hair with well-defined forelock curl, brown intaglio eyes with white eyedots, black upper eyeliner, closed mouth with center accent line, somber expression, all-wooden spring-jointed body with holes in feet for positioning. Condition: generally excellent, slight nose rub, some limb scuffing. Marks: Schoenhut Doll, Jan 17. Ô11 USA and Foreign Countries. Comments: Schoenhut, circa 1911. Value Points: rare sculpted hair model is wearing his original baseball uniform with leather belt, and original red kidskin baseball shoes with holes in soles for posing.
