Pressed bisque socket head, dark brown glass enamel inset eyes in very wide-cut eye sockets, dark eyeliner, delicately-painted lashes and feathered brows, accented nostrils, shaded nostrils, closed mouth with outlined lips, pierced ears, blonde lambswool wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden eight-loose-ball-jointed body with straight wrists. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 2/0 (head) Jumeau Medaille d'Or Paris (body). Comments: Emile Jumeau, circa 1878. Value Points: early luxury quality premiere bebe with rare eyes known as "wrap-around", beautiful painting including mauve-blushed eye shadow, original wig, original body and body finish, wearing superb white pique bebe dress, bonnet, undergarments, cream kidskin shoes with silk rosettes signed "4".
