15" (38 cm.) Bisque socket head with solid dome, flocked hair in boyish style, brown glass "jewel" inset eyes, brown painted lashes and brows, accented nostrils, open mouth, shaded and outlined lips, four porcelain teeth, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: SFBJ 237 Paris 4. Comments: SFBJ, circa 1912, from their art character series. Value Points: superb modeling of older boy with finely chiseled features around the eyes and mouth, fine quality bisque, original body and body finish, wearing original antique Scottish costume with elaborate accessories.
