Description
13" (33 cm.) Wax head with painted facial features, blue eyes, closed mouth, platinum fleeced hair, wax hands, on muslin torso which is attached to hollow carton container designed for use as candy container. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: (original candy shop label of Leon Miland of Grenoble on base). Comments: French, early 1900s. Value Points: the doll is wearing elaborate original communion costume with accessories, and was presented as a candy box offering.
