15" (38 cm.) Carved wooden head and torso, slender angular face with carved definition of tall helmet which is decorated at the front by an embossed gilt metal crest, carved short black curly hair, carved facial features, deeply-incised eye sockets, dark eyes, thick brows and very thick moustache, closed mouth, stuffed lower limbs with applied wool felt upper arms and legs, carved wooden knee-high boots and base, wooden hands. Condition: generally excellent, one thumb broken. Comments: wonderful detail of carved wood including decorated helmet, moustache, and wearing original attached costume.
