21" (53 cm.) All composition with socket head, brown sleep eyes, mohair lashes, painted lower lashes, short fringed brows, accented nostrils, slightly-parted lips, four teeth, brunette human hair, jointed shoulders and hips, wearing Scottish costume including cap, socks and shoes. Condition: generally excellent, craze line under chin. Comments: designed by Dewees Cochran for Effanbee American Children series, late 1930s. Value Points: strong featured child with beautiful sculpted mouth and eyes, wonderful costume.
