Description
16" (41 cm.) Carved wooden scene on shaped base depicts a bearded man standing with his arms up-stretched to support another base upon which is posed a dog standing on his back legs. Perched on either side of the man are two carved wooden yellow birds. Generally excellent, all original. American, mid-1800s, a wonderful and imaginative folk art scene.
