Description
8" (20 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque torso, blue glass inset eyes with rich spiral threading, painted long lashes, feathered brows, rose blushed eye shadow, open mouth with pale outlined lips, two square-cut upper teeth, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig, peg jointing at shoulders and hips, modeled bent elbows, very muscular legs, painted white stockings and black ankle boots with lacing and heels. Condition: generally excellent, small chip on right thumb tip, bottom of back neck socket, and right arm stringing hole. Marks: 102 0. Comments: attributed to Kestner, circa 1882. Value Points: beautiful face with wonderful eyes and nicely blushed eyelids and cheeks.
