18" (46 cm.) babies,12" nurse. Each is all composition with socket head and jointed limbs. The babies have brown painted baby hair,side-glancing brown painted eyes,curly lashes,bow-shaped lips,bent limb baby body,and wear original organdy baby gowns with embroidered bibs and bonnets,diapers; the nurse has blonde mohair wig,sleep eyes,and wears organdy nursing uniform and cap,shoes and socks. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Alexander (dolls) (costumes also tagged). Comments: Alexander,their portrait models of Dionne Quintuplets and their Nurse,circa 1935. Value Points: the dolls wear their original costumes with name embroidered on bib,have five original wooden furniture pieces and each has original gold paper label.
