8" (20 cm.) Of fine mahogany,appearing as an upright piano or organ with brass mounts and knobs,the lid opens with reveal (frail) silk-lined interior,and the bottom cabinet doors open for access to compartments for sewing tools. Music functions well,the cabinetry and accents are luxurious and well-maintained. French,circa 1880,original paper label on base listing two tunes including "The Miller's Daughter".
